So that I really like about this system is the wireless remote because chances are pretty good if you have an F450, you're hauling really heavy loads and not all of them are going to weigh the same. Hey there, heavy haulers. Today, we're going to be taking a look at Air Lift's SmartAir II Automatic Leveling compressor system. These are available in either a single sensor kit or a dual sensor kit. The difference being is the single sensor is designed for load leveling front to back, but not side to side, where the dual sensor kit is for front, back, and side to side.I've taken the vehicle outside now and I put about a thousand pounds of weight in the back. Rob: Rob here at etrailer.com, and today you're going to be taking a look at the Firestone Air Command I Heavy-Duty Air Compressor for Air Bags on our 2018 Ram 2500.Now, having an air compressor for your air bags is going to be a really nice thing because let's face it, whenever we're towing a heavy load, those air bags definitely come in handy, helps support our load, keep our truck nice and level and reduce the amount of wear and tear that we put on it from towing those heavy loads. Every time we load up or we change loads, we're going to have to adjust our air bags, which means we're either going to have to get an air truck out, fill them up, an air gauge, lower them down, and have somebody checking the pressure. I don't know about you but I would much rather do it from the comfort of the inside of my truck with a switch rather than having to pull that air hose every time.Our compressor is going to be a kit. It's going to come with the compressor itself we see here along with a gauge and a switch, so we can monitor the pressure as well as adjust it. The compressor itself is going to be a heavy-duty compressor. It's going to work all the way up to 150 psi. more

Today we're going to take a look at the Air Lift SmartAir II Automatic Leveling Compressor System for Air Helper Springs.Now this compressor system will automatically level your vehicle using a unique non-contact magnetic height sensor, which allows the system to intelligently determine whether the air springs should be inflated or deflated. And that non-contact magnetic technology will reduce the possibility of malfunction due to dirt or other road debris interfering with the contact arm.It does automatically detect changes in the vehicle's load and it will make adjustments to the air springs as needed. The SmartAir II is available in either single or dual-path models. This part number is a single-path model. The single-path allows for the inflation of both air springs at the same rate at the same time. And the dual-path version allows for the inflation of each air spring independently to different pressures depending on load. more

Today on our 2017 Forest River Sunseeker, we're going to be installing Firestone's Air Command II Compressor System.The unit is wirelessly controlled using the remote that comes included. Batteries does come included with the remote, so it's ready to use right out of the box. You can manually adjust the pressures from side to side if you have it set up that way, or front to rear if you got air bags installed in both front and back, and you've set it up that way. To adjust the pressure, you simply press the center button, which is like the return symbol. They start to blink. more

Hi there do it yourselfers. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at Firestone's Air Command One heavy duty compressor system. Now, if you've got heavy duty air springs installed in your vehicle and you're concerned that other compressors aren't gonna be able to inflate them to the pressures that you need, this one's got your back. With 150 PSI maximum pressure, it's gonna work with just about every airbag out there and be sufficient.And, for your heavy duty applications, we recommend Firestone's red label air springs, as those are going to withstand those higher pressures and bigger loads. A lot of your other airbags don't accept pressures up to 150 PSI, but the red label's gonna be perfect for the job.As you can see here on our heavy duty work truck, regardless of the trailer you hook up the loads you're putting in the back, this compressor system and air bags are gonna be able to handle that load with confidence and you're gonna get a more enjoyable smoother ride.You also get the convenience of being able to air it up from right inside the comfort of your vehicle. Today on our 2015 F-450, we're going to be installing Firestone's Heavy Duty Air Compressor.This heavy duty compressor is going to offer a much higher pressure than most of the competitors out there on the market, up to a 150 psi, so for your larger vehicles like our F-450 here, it's going to be a perfect match. You're going to want a compressor that has the capability of supporting the loads that you're going to be putting on the airbags in the back, and this one's going to be able to get you to those higher pressures supporting the biggest and heaviest loads.To get the most out of your compressor, we recommend that you use Firestone's Air Springs. You do want to make sure you don't over-pressurize your air bags. Another feature that I really like about this air compressor is the control unit that you mount inside. It has an air gauge on it, so you can constantly monitor your air pressure and ensure that it's at the right amount. This can be really nice on those spring and fall months of the year when the weather fluctuates up and down, temperatures rising and lowering, which can drastically change pressures. more

So we'll get two compressor units, two lengths of air hose, two wiring harnesses, our sensors themselves, the T-relay to go between our airbag, and the compressor itself. Brackets, hardware we'll have our T's, our two magnets, all of the wiring and all of the nuts and bolts that we'll need to get everything installedTwo fuse holders to go in line with the power to the battery. It does use the user-friendly app and it'll let you adjust and monitor your air springs, and is compatible with iPhone or Android smartphones.Now, this kit is designed for use for Firestone air springs. It has a single path system, so it keeps both air springs at the same air pressure, and they offer easily adjustable air pressure settings and functionality. The compressor it uses is the slight duty 12 volt compressor for occasional towing and light loads. Today we're going to be taking a look at Air Lift's WirelessONE Compressor System for Air Helper Springs. This is a wireless air compressor system that can use either the included remote or you can download the app to your smartphone and pair it via Bluetooth to control it as well. The app provides a nicer interface for setting your presets than the remote. But everything can be done with the remote. It's much easier if you use the layout here to adjust up and down and save those settings. Additionally, what I like about the app is in the top left where it tells you the device you're connected to, if you increase or decrease the pressure, it'll give you a pressure readout at the top of how it's going up or down.In your kit, besides the remote, you're also going to get the control unit, and an air compressor. more

Today on our 2014 Ford F-150, we're going to be installing Air Lift's WirelessONE Compressor System.This is what our compressor system looks like when it's installed. You've got your control box here and your air compressor, that's basically it. It works via Bluetooth to the included remote or to your smart phone with the installed app on it.The remote and the app work together. If you change a preset on your app here or anything, it saves inside the device. It remembers that preset so when you change it to a preset with your remote, it will still have the same value.You can have up to three presets, which is great if you have multiple trailers or various loads. You could set up your first one at five pounds, which is the minimum, and that's basically your unloaded, for normal driving with no load on. more

Today, we're gonna take a look at the Firestone Air Command I single path heavy-duty compressor with analog gauge. Now this compressor system will let you monitor and adjust one pair of air springs. It is a single path set up, so it allows for front to back leveling and maintains equal air pressure in both springs. The analog control panel right here has a nice wide face on it, mounts in your vehicle's cab. If you push the switch up, that's to inflate the air springs, push the switch down to deflate the air springs.The compressor it comes with is a nice heavy-duty air compressor. Works great on tow trucks, off-road applications, or motor homes; and accommodates fairing load capacities and road and parking conditions. more

Today we're going to take a look at the Air Lift Load Controller II single path compressor system for Air Helper springs. Now, this load controller II system will automatically kick in if it senses that your air spring pressure is too low and it will restore air spring pressure automatically.Basically, it'll detect when your air pressure in your helper springs falls below a minimum level and the minimum pressure level is typically set at five psi, but you can manually adjust the system to sense when air pressure is below 10 psi. It keeps your air pressure above the minimum level to ensure long spring life.It will let you monitor and adjust one pair of air springs with a single path, in cab controller engage. It maintains equal air pressure in both springs, for front to back leveling and it boasts quiet, high volume air flow for virtually vibration free operation. It performs well for light duty or medium duty applications and the occasional haul on your towing.It will work with any brand of air springs. It includes everything shown here on the table. more

Today on our 2018 Ford F150, we're gonna be taking a look at the Air Lift WirelessONE compressor system for air helper springs. That's going to be part number AL25980EZ. And to help us with our installation, we're also gonna be installing the Air Lift Load Lifter 5000 air helper springs. Whenever we have a heavy load in the back, or we're towing a heavy trailer, the back end's gonna sag down. Well, we have air bags to help support it but every time that we change our load or change a trailer, we're gonna have to get out and manually check the airbags and adjust the pressures as necessary.Well our WirelessONE is gonna allow us to not have to get out of the truck at all. Or if we do get out, we can watch and see how level it's gonna be. more

Today in our 2019 Ford F350 Super Duty we're going to be installing Firestone's Air Command F3 Compressor with Wireless Remote, part number F2590. This is what our unit is gonna look like when it's installed. It's gonna be permanently mounted to the vehicle, so you can adjust your air pressure no matter where you are, on the fly. It comes with an air compressor to air-up your air bags, and a control unit to distribute the air to the appropriate air bag, as well as provide wireless connectivity.This is nice because you don't have to supply your own air compressor at your house or go to a gas station to adjust your pressures. You can just do it wherever you are. Its particularly useful if you haul multiple loads a day, and each one has its own varying weight. more

This is going to allow us to adjust our airbags without ever having to get out. Simply turn the key on. You can hear the compressor kick on, Then we'll be able to fill up each one of our airbags individually.Now the gauge will let us know what our airbags are set at, and since we're able to adust them individually, it'll really help out with those off-center loads. So if it's leaning more to the right, we can set our right airbag up a little bit more, or set the left one down. Whatever we may need. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 GMC Sierra 1500, we're gonna be installing Firestone's Air Command F3 Compressor System, part number F2589.So, if you're out working where there's no air compressor, you load up the back of your vehicle and you wanna air it up, but you can't Well, now you can, because this system has a compressor built in, and it's gonna air it right up to your desired level using the wireless remote.When running around town unloaded, you're gonna want it set to five Psi for both your airbags. When you've got a load on it, you're gonna wanna adjust that to accommodate that load. And if you have something that you typically haul like let's say a trailer, you can save memory settings. So we've got memory one set to our unloaded position, and memory two we have set so we can adjust for that trailer we're gonna hook up. And you can see on the remote as the pressure increases in both your left and right airbag.After it airs it up, you usually go slightly higher than what you're desired pressure is, and then slowly brings that back down. Then it settles of at your desired pressure and you're good to go. more

Now in order for your compressor to work, it's set up to work with a key in the on position. The truck or vehicle doesn't have to be running, but it has to be in the on position.Now we can see, we have 5 PSI on each bag, showing that we have our back tires, our back wheels hooked up. So if we press the up arrow, it's set to inflate to 15 pounds or 15 pounds per square inch. Click that, and then you press the down arrow, you can deflate it. And it'll deflate and it'll stop at 5 PSI. more

In conjunction with this we'll be using Firestone's ride right air helper springs, part number F2458. The wireless air compressor is going to allow you to adjust the airbags under your vehicle remotely. It has two memory settings so you can set it for your various trailers that you may have. Trailer one, trailer two or you could have it loaded, unloaded, however you desire.You can adjust each one individually, left and right side using the buttons on the controller. Included in the kit you'll get a compressor that will fill your air tank up to 150 psi. more

Part Number is: F2538.Now, the Firestone Air Command Light Duty Compressor System is going to be the perfect solution to have air onboard your pick-up for occasional hauling and towing use. It's going to provide an analog gauge here.Now, the compressor is capable of up to 120 psi, as you can see from the comfort, convenience, and safety of your cab, you can just either hit the switch down or up to inflate or deflate the air bags.We had a load in the back of our truck, and to get our air bags up to about 50 psi, it was well under 30 seconds, so it was nice that it was quick, it got them up to pressure very rapidly for us.It doesn't take up a lot of space either, with your standard duty or your heavy duty compressors, you are going to need more room, which they would probably mount in this area. But if you wanted a more customized kind of install, if you wanted to keep it a little bit more hidden, those are going to offer a little bit more of a challenge.Now, one thing to keep in mind with a light duty compressor, if you want to run an onboard air tank, it's recommended to do either a standard or a heavy duty. The light duty compressor really doesn't have the duty cycle of the standard or heavy duty. So filling that tank might be a little bit more of a challenge.Another thing I really like about the kit is that we have a pre-assembled and included relay harness. more

What that means is, we don't have to worry about running any power wires, or air lines through the firewall of our vehicle into our cab to actually control the system.It's all done via this handheld remote, which you can actually use outside of the vehicle, pretty far distance away from the vehicle, so you can actually check to make sure your vehicle's level after you hook up to your trailer, or you have a heavy load placed in the bed of your truck.Now this is a dual path system.
